Undergraduate Programmes
1. Bachelor of Arts (Chinese)

Programme Profile
This is a 4 year programme that develops students' abilities in listening, speaking, writing and reading Chinese.
Career Opportunities
Graduates in Chinese have the choice of furthering their Chinese studies to the graduate level or working in a number of employment areas for example, as tourist guides; in hotels and other areas of the hospitality industry; international companies (especially Taiwanese companies with branches in Thailand) as well as in other areas of employment where Chinese is used.
2. Bachelor of Arts (English)

Programme Profile
This programme focuses on producing graduates who are knowledgeable and well-versed in English and who can use English in their respective fields with a high level of proficiency and with a sense of responsibility towards society.
Those interested in this programme should have an inclination towards foreign languages. They should have a strong determination to strive towards excellence in the field of English and other foreign languages that they choose to study. They should be enthusiastic, inquisitive and creative learners.
Career Opportunities
Graduates from this programme can work as translators or in positions that require the use of languages in communication in the public or private sector, such as International Relations Officers and those handling business documents in foreign languages. With further training in teaching methodology these graduates may also become English language teachers.
3. Bachelor of Arts (Regional Studies)

Abbreviation: B.A. (Regional Studies)
Programme Profile
This programme focuses on developing an interdisciplinary knowledge about Southeast Asia's societies, cultures, politics, and economies, with a special focus on Malaysia and Indonesia. All students are required to study Malay or Indonesian language as part of the course, and are encouraged to take part in a one-term "in-country" language programme at a Malaysian or Indonesian university. Graduates will gain an in-depth understanding of the main issues and debates in Southeast Asian studies, as well as fluency in Malay or Indonesian. Students also have the option of choosing a minor in Tourism, International Business Management, English or Chinese.
Career Opportunities
Graduates in Regional Studies will be equipped with the linguistic and cultural skills and knowledge of the region required to work in the public or private sector in areas that deal with relations between Thailand and Southeast Asia, especially Malaysia and Indonesia. Such areas include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior, the tourism and hospitality industry, customs, Thai branches of Malaysian and Indonesian companies; Thai companies with operations in Southeast Asia, regional organizations associated with ASEAN, and research institutes focussing on Southeast Asian affairs.
