Programme Profile

Computational science is a new emerging field of technology. It is the first and honours course in Thailand. Students will benefit from the experience of international and Thai lecturers who are experts in this field. The course is student centered and provides optimum conditions for effective learning, with a teacher with student ratio of 1:4. Students will gain knowledge and experience through:

- Basic science and mathematics subjects.
- Scientific thinking and research methodology.
- Computer programming and the application of program in computational science.
- Small projects in computation science.
- Professional placement training with external companies and institutes.

- Weather studies using computational techniques.
- Molecular modeling studies.
- Plasma studies with computer based models.
- Biological modeling.
