Program profile

The B. Arch. is a 5 year study program in building planning and construction,
a professional degree curriculum conforming to the requirement of the first professional degree program of the Architects’ Council of Thailand.  In this program, design and construction are major courses connected closely to find integration.   The first 3 years concern domestic and small-scale public building design and the fourth and fifth concern more on environmental and public buildings.

Career opportunities

Architecture is a field of professional practice in our society that always needs newcomers in an ever increasing number, and this demand is never fulfilled.  And, neighboring countries, meanwhile, induces hopeful young generations from our profession circle.  Strong building growth centers in the South demands not only experience designers but also a large number of young apprentices.    Job training course in the fourth year enable students to work on site and in architects offices.

Program profile

The B. Arch. (Industrial Design) is a 4 year study program.   Product design, graphics and packaging, furniture design and building, textile design are among design studio practices in the first two years.  Problem-Base design will be taken in the fourth and fifth year, where students are required to experience actual industry design problems.  The problem that matters most in the South is how to make major agricultural outputs : rubber and parawood to become inputs for the local industries.  To produce designers and to answer the requirement for industrial advancement is a criteria of this program of study.

There is an ever increasing demand for industrial designers  in industries country wide, because industrial products have to be improved according to market demands and to make use of our own raw materials to the greatest advantage.
