Objectives
The program is designed to enhance professional competencies of business enterprise operators and staff who have already gained bachelor’s degrees from tertiary institutions. It aims to develop and strengthen professional knowledge and skills in accounting and taxation, human resources management, lodging management, marketing, and tourism management. Promotion of closer collaboration and partnership in business education between the university and private sector is an important feature of the program.
2. Master of Business Administration
Degree Title: Master of Business Administration
Abbreviation: M. B. A.
Objectives
The program produces master’s graduated with a sound working knowledge of all core business skills together with strategic vision and ability for business management and development within the context of ethical standards. It is also aimed at promoting action research in business management and competitiveness in Thailand with a view to developing the potential for regional business growth with a special emphasis on the upper region of the south of Thailand.

Objectives
This program aims to produce master’s graduates with a sound working knowledge and practical skills of modern management that can be applied to their work in various fields. The program is open to all members of the local and neighboring communities in various professions, public or private sectors, who will benefit from management education. It also provides a forum for sharing, ideas, experiences, and viewpoints that will lead o future networking and collaboration.
Research
The school of Management has an active research program. Recent research projects include the strategy of large businesses in southern Thailand during the economic crisis, the use of culture in international advertising in Thailand and the US, the One Tambon One Product (OTOP) policy in the three border provinces in southern Thailand, the demand of Malaysian and Singaporean tourists in southern Thailand, and Nakhon Si Thammarat’s image as a tourist destination.
