On 8 April 2021, Asst. Prof. Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit, Director of Center for International Affairs welcomed Ms. Megan Mankerian-Stem, Speaker and Director of International Enrollment, Creighton University and Ms. Kristen McDonald, Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer, Embassy of the United States of America to an online workshop on Essay Writing.

This virtual event was organized by Center for International Affairs (CIA), Walailak University in collaboration with Education USA, Embassy of the United States of America, and Creighton University. It was about how students prepare themselves for further their study in a university in the US and how to write a strong statement to apply for prospective programs or scholarships or for different purposes.

There were 40 student participants who are third year students in English Major, School of Liberal Arts attended the online workshop.
