Zhejiang Wanli University (ZWU), China, has around 20,000 students. The university is well-known in the areas of economics and medicine. Over the past few years, ZWU has successfully engaged in international collaborations and exchanges with universities across the world, whether in America or Europe. And now, it is seeking to expand its cooperation in Asia.

The promotion of ZWU staff’s studies for master's and doctoral degrees in business and management and RCEP Digital Trade Special Class Program were at the center of discussion.

RCEP Digital Trade Special Class Program, which is now operated in ZWU, is supported by NingBo Yinzhou District E-Commerce Association. The program focuses on the development of international business, international trade, and the digital trade industry.

If the cooperation between the two universities succeeds, there will be an exchange of knowledge in e-commerce and business between Thailand and China. Third-year and fourth-year students of Walailak University will get opportunities to study with Chinese lecturers through online platforms with Chinese peers and have hands-on experience in e-commerce, start-up, and current trend of goods and services through workshops.

On this occasion, Walailak University’s delegates briefed Mr. Cai about their school/college in order to discuss and seek opportunities and possibilities for future cooperation, which the Nakhon Si Thammarat Chamber will help facilitate.

Not only will this cooperation be beneficial in the educational sector, but also in the business and economy of Nakhon si Thammarat Province.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jeerakiat said: "This cooperation will increase e-commerce between China and Thailand, as the economy of both countries was affected by the pandemic over the past two years. Walailak University has a Digital Marketing and Branding Program. Hopefully, the cooperation between the two universities will be successful."
