รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มนัส โคตรพุ้ย สำนักวิชาสหเวชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ได้รับเชิญเป็น Guest speaker ในงานประชุมวิชาการทางปรสิตวิทยา The 15th International Congress on Parasitology - ICOPA 2022 ที่เมืองโคเปนเฮเกน ประเทศเดนมาร์ก ระหว่างวันที่ 21-26 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2565 โดยได้รับเชิญบรรยายในหัวข้อ Coinfections in malaria

ทั้งนี้ งาน  ICOPA 2022 เป็นงานประชุมวิชาการอย่างเป็นทางการของสมาคมนักปรสิตวิทยาโลก หรือ The World Federation of Parasitologists (WFP) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นทุก ๆ 4 ปี และเป็นงานประชุมวิชาการที่มีนักปรสิตวิทยาเข้าร่วมมากที่สุดในโลก โดยเปิดโอกาสให้นักปรสิตวิทยาจากทั่วโลกมานำเสนอผลงานวิจัยแบบปากเปล่า (oral presentation) แบบโปสเตอร์ (poster presentation) มีการบรรยายจาก Keynote speakers และ Guest speakers เพื่อสร้างแรงบรรดาลใจ แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์การวิจัย พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้นักปรสิตวิทยาได้สร้างความร่วมมือทางด้านการวิจัยอีกด้วย ซึ่งในปีนี้มีนักปรสิตวิทยาจากทั่วโลกเข้าร่วมงานมากกว่า 1500 คน จาก 95 ประเทศ

Associate Professor Dr. Manas Kotepui, Medical Technology Program, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, had been invited to give a lecture on the topic “Coinfections in malaria” at the 15th International Congress on Parasitology - ICOPA 2022 in Copenhagen, Denmark on 21-26 August 2022.

ICOPA is the official academic conference of the World Federation of Parasitologists (WFP), held every four years. It is also the world's most attended academic conference for parasitologists. It offers parasitologists from around the world the opportunity to present their research in an oral presentation and a poster presentation. Parasitologists can meet friends and colleagues, seek scientific collaboration, get inspired and motivated by keynote and guest speakers to continue research and practice in parasitology and parasitic diseases. ICOPA 2022 was hosted by the Danish Society for Parasitology (DSP) and the Scandinavian-Baltic Society for Parasitology (SBSP). More than 1,500 parasitologists from 95 countries attended this year's conference. In the next four years (2026), ICOPA will be held in Montréal, Canada.
