Awards

A graduate from the School of Science, Walailak University won the Gold Prize in the Department of Chemistry at the national level.

Miss Chantalaksana Chantarangkul, a graduate of Computational Science, majoring in chemistry, received the gold prize in the Young Rising Stars of Science Award 2021 at the 47th International Congress on Science, Technology, and Technology-Based Innovation (STT47).  The event was organized by the Science Society of Thailand, under the patronage of His Majesty the King, together with the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science, Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Campus.  Miss Chantalaksana completed her research paper, entitled “Structural studies and DFT calculations of Manganese(III) Schiff base complexes”, with the support of her advisors, Assoc. Prof. Phimphaka Harding, PhD and Assoc. Prof. David James Harding, PhD.
