Walailak University International College organized a Cultural City Tour in Nakhon Si Thammarat for Russian exchange students on 19 October 2022 from 1.00 - 7.00 PM.

Walailak University International College has seven exchange students from Russia living on the campus from September to December 2022; under a cooperation agreement with the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (NWIM RANEPA), St. Petersburg, Russia.

On this occasion, Walailak University International College, led by Dr. Wasin Praditsilp, organized the official welcoming tour, taking the exchange students and WUIC students on a field trip to tourist attractions and cultural heritage sites in Muang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat, such as the City Pillar Shrine, Suchart Supsin Shadow Puppet Museum, Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan (Buddhist temple), and Kang Phrathat Market.

While the exchange students enjoyed Muang Nakhon's beautiful scenery; the staff and WUIC students, as WUIC buddies, shared historical information about the city and let the students participate in activities with the locals, allowing them to learn about local culture and traditions.
