Preliminary Agreement Signed with Hasanuddin University
Represented by Assistant to the President for Global Engagement, Suthasinee Sangkhum, Ph.D., and Assistant Prof. Dr. Shubham Pathak from the Graduate School, Walailak University signed a preliminary agreement with Hasanuddin University, represented by Rector Prof. Dr. Jamaluddin Jompa, during the conference. This strategic agreement is set to enhance collaboration in joint research initiatives, student exchanges, and various academic activities, with a specific focus on advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
The collaboration embraces Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as a shared value, Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) as a common platform, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a collective goal, with ESG serving as the common thrust guiding all cooperative efforts. The agreement culminated in the signing of a Letter of Intent on 4 October 2024, marking an important step forward in strengthening regional academic cooperation and addressing common challenges through collective research and exchange.
