WU Center for International Affairs Holds Discussion with Immigration Office to Facilitate Visa Processing for International Students
On Wednesday, 16 October 2024, Walailak University (WU) Center for International Affairs, led by Dr. Suthasinee Sangkhum, Assistant to the President, met with Pol. Lt. Col. Wannachai Sukjeam, Inspector of Nakhon Si Thammarat Immigration, to exchange information and develop strategies for facilitating visa processes for international students at WU.
Key discussion points included visa processing procedures for international students, regulations concerning different types of visas and recent updates, visa category changes, WU’s international policies and direction, and the exchange of knowledge on security and safety aspects.
The meeting aimed to foster mutual understanding, promote collaboration, and explore ways to improve systems that support the education and well-being of international students. It marked a significant step in strengthening cooperation to enhance services and support for international students at WU.
