We are pleased to announce the 2025 IACS Conference theme: “Geo-Social Connection: The Continuing Journey of Critical Inquiry.” We introduce “geo-social” as a conceptual tool to capture Inter-Asian connections that go beyond the geopolitical. The theme emphasizes the interconnectedness of geography and society as sites of knowledge production across Asia.
