Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President, on behalf of Walailak University, received a donation from Mr. Chakkrid Roekyen from C.K. Construction (2007) Limited Partnership, amounting to 500,000 Baht to support the 41^st Thailand University Staff Games, known as the “Tumpang Games.”

Additionally, Ms. Sud-ueam Mueangchang from Perfect Plus Solution Company Limited donated 200,000 Baht to Walailak University International Exchange Scholarship (WUIES) fund to support student exchanges and short courses abroad. The WUIES fund now stands at 1,251,000 Baht.

The donation ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Urai Jaraeprapal, Vice President; Dr. Mongkol Teerananond, Assistant to the President; Dr. Suthasinee Sangkhum, Assistant to the President; Assistant Professor Dr. Marisa Poomiphak Na Nongkhai, Director of Center for Cultural and Sports Promotion; Assistant Professor Dr. Patnarin Supakorn, Direcot of Center for International Affairs; and Ms. Hattakarn Karunpaisarn, Head of Division of Finance and Accounting. The event took place at the Honor Hall of Walailak University Hospital on November 13, 2024.
