Director of WU Center for Academic Services Delivers Lecture on Integrating Research and Academic Services for Sustainable Development Goals at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya 



On December 4, 2024, the Center for Academic Services at Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Amonsak Sawusdee, Director of the Center, was invited by Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya to deliver a lecture on integrating research and academic services to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The presentation covered policy-driven strategies for advancing university management, sustainable development-focused teaching and learning, and community and external engagement activities to improve well-being.  

The lecture also covered guidelines for preparing data to support global rankings, specifically following the methodology of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. This event was part of the Developing Mechanisms for Promoting Technology and Innovation Businesses for Utilization Program.  

In addition, the program featured two lectures: "Mechanisms for Utilizing Research to Promote Technology and Innovation Businesses" and "Platforms Supporting the Utilization of Research Outcomes," delivered by Mr. Ekapong Musikacharoen, Director of Science, Research and Innovation Promotion and Utilization Division at the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.  

The sessions aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of research utilization mechanisms, strategies for promoting technology and innovation businesses, and approaches to effective communication and collaboration. Over 50 participants attended the event, including executives, researchers, faculty members, and staff from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
