From March 3-5, 2025, the Clinic Technology of Walailak University participated in the “Advancing the Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation for Value-Added Livestock Products” exhibition at the Thung Yai Agricultural Fair 2025 under the Community Technology Consulting and Problem-Solving Project. The event was hosted at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Thung Yai), Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
During the exhibition, the Clinic Technology of Walailak University showcased social engagement projects, community-based research, and value-added livestock products. These included Shredded Pork Jerky products from the Integrated Swine Farming Community Enterprise of Satit Walailak Pattana Community and research on Ligor chickens from the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry.
Additionally, the Clinic Technology and faculty members from the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry collaborated with Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Thung Yai) in implementing “the Enhancing Livestock Production Capacity and Adding Value to Livestock Products with the Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation in Southern Thailand Project.” This project was funded by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) to increase the value of livestock products from cattle and goats.
As part of the exhibition, prototype products such as goat meat in soy sauce and sun-dried goat meat were displayed and offered for free tasting. Over 100 attendees visited the exhibition and expressed keen interest in the showcased innovations throughout the three-day event.
