Walailak University Provides a Free Educational Program to Enhance Teachers’ Capacity in Educational Innovation

THA SALA, Nakhon Si Thammarat, 19 July and 2 August 2025 — The Center for Academic Services, in collaboration with the School of Education, Walailak University, organized a free educational program titled “Enhancing Teachers’ Capacity in Educational Innovation at the Khao Luang Chamber, Cooperative Education Building, Walailak University. The program was held on two separate days, serving the 1st and 2nd generations of participants.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warit Jawjit, Vice President of Walailak University, followed by a welcoming speech and program introduction delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amonsak Sawusdee. The program aims to provide free educational opportunities for teachers in local communities, enabling them to strengthen their knowledge of educational innovation and transform their innovations into academic contributions.

Distinguished speakers included Prof. Dr. Narin Sungrugsa, Acting Dean of the School of Education, along with Ms. Treenuch Chaowanakritsanakul, Ms. Kedkarn Phanwiriyarat, Mr. Natthapong Sutthichi, Acting Sub-Lt. Tuwanan Ratthananin Anan, Dr. Chutacaphat Rattanaphan, Dr. Pongpan Compan, Dr. Chanakamol Kongyok, ACTING.SUB-LT. Worawit Pradittakarn, Mr. Thongchai Prommachan, Ms.
Nuchanart Rodsaaad and Ms. Adeelah Ayae.

The program welcomed 71 teachers from 29 local schools across the south of Thailand. At the conclusion of the training, participants received certificates and shared recommendations for future program development, which Walailak University will take into consideration for upcoming initiatives.

This initiative reflects Walailak University’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
