National Awards

Walailak University extends its heartfelt congratulations to Associate Professor Dr. Narumol Matan and her research team on receiving the NRCT Quality Achievement Award 2026, presented by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).

The award was conferred in the Research Category: Agriculture and Biology in recognition of their outstanding research project titled Fruit Packaging to Delay Spoilage and Control the Ripening of Thai Fruits during Transportation to Enhance Opportunities for Premium Markets Overseas.

The award presentation took place during Thailand Inventors’ Day 2026 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok.
