Rubber-Based Training Handgun ‒ to increase value of para rubber product

ศูนย์เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมทางการฝึก (Technology and Innovation of Training Center) ฝ่ายปกครองและการฝึก ศูนย์ฝึกอบรมตำรวจภูธร ภาค 8 มีความจำเป็นในการฝึกปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับการใช้อาวุธปืนอย่างถูกต้องและแม่นยำ โดยการใช้อุปกรณ์ช่วยฝึกได้แก่ ปืนพกสำหรับฝึก ให้แก่นักเรียนตำรวจ เพื่อเพิ่มทักษะความชำนาญและความคุ้นเคย ในการใช้ปืนพกสำหรับฝึกที่มีลักษณะใกล้เคียงกับปืนจริงมากที่สุด ปัจจุบันการฝึกการใช้ปืนพกของนักเรียนตำรวจในแต่ละปีนั้นมีจำนวนนักเรียนตำรวจมาก ทำให้จำนวนปืนพกสำหรับฝึกไม่เพียงพอต่อการใช้งาน ทางศูนย์ฝึกอบรมตำรวจภูธรภาค 8 จึงพยายามจัดหาอุปกรณ์การฝึกมาใช้ทดแทนสำหรับการฝึกยิงปืนพก เช่น ปืนที่ทำจากไม้ เรซิน เป็นต้น ซึ่งยังมีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับรูปร่างและน้ำหนักที่ไม่เสมือนปืนจริง นอกจากนี้การนำเข้าปืนพกจำลองจากต่างประเทศมีข้อจำกัดและราคาแพง

The Provincial Police Training Center, Region 8 at Suratthani province has a training regulation for polices with a high level of professional skills and moral integrity. The use of handgun for police cadet’s training is used to improve skills and to be familiar with the real guns. Unfortunately, an increasing number of trainees each year cause a number of training handguns insufficient. Therefore, the training handgun made from wood or resin can solve such insufficiency. However, the handguns made form such materials cause disadvantages in terms of shape and weight. Moreover the use of imported-training handgun is limited and expensive.

ยางธรรมชาติเป็นหนึ่งในสินค้าทางการเกษตรอันดับต้นๆของประเทศไทยที่ส่งออกเป็นวัตถุดิบมากกว่าเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ยางส่งผลให้ได้รับผลตอบแทนต่ำ ปัจจุบันราคายางพารามีแนวโน้มลดต่ำลงเรื่อยๆ ตามปริมาณยางดิบที่ผลิตได้มากขึ้นและความต้องการใช้ยางในตลาดโลกลดลง ได้มีการวิจัยและพัฒนาการแปรรูปยางพาราเพื่อใช้งานเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ยางต่างๆ นวัตกรรมปืนยางช่วยฝึกใช้ยางธรรมชาติเป็นส่วนผสมหลัก โดยการนำยางแผ่รมควัน (Ribbed Smoked Sheet, RSS) ผสมกับสารเคมีด้วยเครื่องบดยางผสมสองลูกกลิ้ง (Two roll mill) ด้วยลำดับและขั้นตอนตามกำหนด ตามอุณหภูมิ ความดันอัดและเวลาที่กำหนดตามตารางที่ 1 ปืนยางที่ได้จะมีน้ำหนักประมาณ 650-670 กรัมต่อกระบอก ซึ่งมีน้ำหนักเท่ากับปืนจริง (รุ่น Glock-19) และมีน้ำหนักมากกว่าปืนจากไม้ (225 กรัมต่อกระบอก) และปืนยางจากต่างประเทศ (398 กรัมต่อกระบอก)

Natural rubber is one of the top agricultural products in Thailand. It is also exported as a raw material rather than rubber products which results a low profit. Rubber prices tend to be lower because of an increase in a raw rubber production and a decrease in demand for rubber in the world market. Therefore, the production of more value-added rubber products is required. Here a rubber handgun is made from natural rubber as a main ingredient. The Ribbed Smoked Sheet (RSS) is mixed with the chemicals using two-roller mill. Compound rubber is compressed by a hydraulic press machine at temperature, pressure, and time specified in Table 1. Parameters given in table 1 yield the compound rubber weight around 650-670 grams per piece. The gun’s weight is equal a real gun (Glock-19 model) but more than both a wooden gun (225 grams) and an imported training gun (398 grams).

ผลการประเมินความพึงพอใจต่อผู้ใช้ปืนยางช่วยฝึกสำหรับทหาร ตำรวจ อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดต่อสมรรถนะที่สามารถนำไปใช้งานจริง ปืนยางมีลักษณะรูปร่างเสมือนปืนจริง มีน้ำหนักเท่าปืนจริง ตกพื้นไม่แตกและไม่ขึ้นสนิมขณะฝึกในน้ำ มีการนำไปใช้ในหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน ได้แก่ ศูนย์ฝึกอบรมตำรวจภูธร กองพันทหารสารวัตร ตำรวจนครบาล ทหารเรือ หน่วยบัญชาการทหารพัฒนาและกองบัญชาการกองทัพไทย เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ผลิตภัณฑ์ปืนยางพารานี้สามารถเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับยางพาราดิบและสร้างรายได้ให้กับหน่วยงานผู้ผลิต รวมทั้งลดการนำเข้าการซื้อปืนยางจากต่างประเทศ ซึ่งมีราคาสูงกว่าปืนยางพารา 5-6 เท่า

The trainee evaluates the rubber handguns with the highest level of satisfaction in their capability. Weight and shape of the rubber guns are the same as those of the real guns reflecting the proper choice for a training center. It passed the drop test without any crack and is reliable in the water. It has been used in public and private sectors such as the police training centers, marines, and army. In addition, these rubber gun products can add value to raw rubber and generate revenue for the manufacturer and finally initiate a reduction in imports which are 5-6 times in cost compared with the commercial ones.
