The Botanical Garden’s guestrooms of Walailak University are certified for quality by the SHA

Walailak University’s Botanical Park guestrooms were affirmed to have reached the standard set by the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA). This new affirmation of quality could further encourage tourists interested in the new trend toward domestic tourism. Tourists can be sure that they will gain great enjoyment, experiences, sanitation, and safety as a result of their stay at WU’s Botanical Garden guestrooms.  This acknowledgment of superior performance is the result of WU’s application to SHA in November of 2020.

SHA or Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration is a project jointly operated by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS), Department of Disease Control (DDC), Department of Health, and Department of Health Service Support, among others. The project combines health and safety measures together with the establishment of quality service standards to ensure that all tourists will have good experiences, enjoyment, and safety and hygiene from the products and services of Thailand. There are 10 types of businesses that can obtain SHA standards including restaurants, hotels/accommodation and meeting places, recreation and tourist attractions, vehicles, travel agencies, health and beauty, shopping malls and shopping centers, sports for tourism, theaters, and activities, and souvenir shops and other shops.

In addition to a meeting room, hotel rooms (fan/air-conditioned), tents for rent, and campground services are available here.
