Asian Journal of Arts and Culture, Walailak University, promoted by Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) to TCI Tier 1 


 

     

       Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) has announced the result of journal assessment to approve a promotion of young journals to TCI database in 2022 on 30 June 2022. In this regard, Asian Journal of Arts and Culture, academic journal under the Center for Promotion of Culture and Sports, Walailak University, has successfully met the criteria and be listed in TCI Tier 1 which can be accessed at https://tci-thailand.org/?p=8166. 


      Asian Journal of Arts and Culture originally known as Walailak Abode of Culture Journal having been in operation for longer than 20 years. Asian Journal of Arts and Culture is a biannually published journal serving scholar communities as a platform open for publication of works in art and culture in ASEAN.  Asian Journal of Arts and Culture has been publishing academic articles submitted by several community leaders in arts and cultural preservation including contemporary Nora performing art by Assistant Prof. Thammanit Nikomrat, Kru Nora and Thai national artist as well as many others.       Associate Prof. Dr. Sarawoot Palipoch, Editor, plans a strategy to effectively manage the journal in a manner measuring up to international quality. Asian Journal of Arts and Culture is a 100% English journal open for application academic works worldwide. The journal is unique in its elements being adjusted to an internationally accepted format and teams of editorials coordinating the process of review and publication from overseas. The next aim to which the team is edging up to is to enter the Scopus Database.
