The evening on the 20th of November 2019 saw the gathering of cultures at the Architecture and Design building. The event, organized by the staff and students of Walailak University International College (WUIC) led by Dr Jidtima
Sunkhamani, Acting Dean of WUIC was graced with the attendance of Associate Professor Dr Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President for Global Engagement and Faculty Development and other senior staff of Walailak University. Dressed for the occasion were faculty and staff from all 13 different countries in their colorful ethnic costumes, complemented by song and dance, and interesting overviews of their home countries. The event was culturally satiating as was the sumptuous buffet to the gastronomical senses that pleasantly included a Tanzanian dessert prepared by Mr. Oscar Andrew Zongo, lecturer of WUIC, from Tanzania.
