WU with Tha Sala District Livestock Officer Providing Breeder Registration Services to Swine Farming Enterprise Group

On November 23, 2566, the Center for Academic Services at Walailak University collaborated with the Tha Sala District Livestock Officer to offer breeder registration and animal preparation services for natural disaster safety to the Swine Farming Enterprise Group. This partnership aims to provide essential foundational information for the development and entitlements from the government in the event of disasters and animal epidemics.

Swine farmers who avail themselves of these services will benefit in the following ways:

-Receive assistance during times of disaster

-Access knowledge and support for animal husbandry factors

-Have the opportunity to participate in various government projects

Additionally, farmers who register as animal breeders update, submit and report information on animals (number of animals) that have increased or decreased, improving the accuracy of the data for the current year.

Walailak University supports local farmers in the community by promoting and providing relevant knowledge to efficiently establish swine farming as a livelihood. This initiative aims to contribute to the strengthening and sustainable development of the community in the future, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 1 (End poverty in all its forms everywhere), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
